The New Futurism

Neo-Futurism is a movement developed in the early 21st Century across the arts, design and architecture. Neofuturists believe cities release emotions driven by eco-sustainability, ethical values and implementing new materials and new technologies to provide a better quality of life for individuals.

While investigating my design manifesto, I discovered Neo-Futurism but disregarded it as it was not an 20th Century movement but rather a 21st movement and so was not an option for the assignment. However, while developing the content for my manifesto based on the Futurist Manifest by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti and while progressing with a design concept at a 1:10 model, I have just realised the general approach has become Neo-Futurist.
